From April 2011 Partnership for Every Child – a newly established Ukrainian NGO takes over EveryChild Ukraine and takes ownership of the work EveryChild has been doing in Ukraine for nearly 12 years, now ceasing to work in the country. -

Ukrainian orphans received a chance to remember their early childhood
Thanks to EveryChild Ukraine and their supporters this year about 500 orphans and children deprived of parental care, will receive a “Book about me" - a personal scrap-book/photo album for children under 6 years old who live in baby homes. -

Charity Event “Buy a Brick” hosted by British Ambassador Leigh Turner to help Ukrainian children
On 7 December 2010, the British Ambassador Leigh Turner hosted a fundraiser charity reception in support of Partnership for Every Child initiatives. The event raised UAH 39,039 and increased awareness of the work Partnership for Every Child does to help vulnerable parents bring up children in families rather than send them to state orphanages. -

Children’s NGOs convinced the authorities not to strengthen the residential system in Ukraine
There will be no new internat in Kyiv region, moreover Ministries are to report about the progress made in reformation of residential system for children, these and other decisions were made at special working meeting devoted to reformation of residential care for orphans and children deprived of parental care held on 23rd of July by Ministry of Family, Youth and Sports and headed by Minister Ravil Safiullin. -

Coalition of charities urges governments to put more emphasis on the rights of the child if they want to achieve the Millennium Development Goal to reduce poverty levels -

EveryChild has led a coalition of nine children's charities to warn that the goal of eradicating extreme poverty by 2015 is unlikely to be realised unless more emphasis is given to children's rights to be loved and cared for in a family, and to be free from exploitation, abuse, neglect and violence. -

EveryChild Ukraine is calling for support from local and international NGOs for the Appeal against the Implementing Order of the Prime Minister of Ukraine, issued on 23rd of June 2010. This Order calls for revival and further development of childcare residential institutions in Ukraine.
